IN SHORT

The Westfield Blue Devils took an early lead on the Raiders turning a John Banaciski fumble into an early 7-0 lead. Banaciski atoned for his early miscue on the Raider's next two possessions with 64 and 61-yard scoring romps to put the Raiders ahead 14-7.  Banaciski finished the night with his biggest game of his career rushing for 310 yards on 30 carries with 4 touchdowns.

The Raider defense created 4 turnovers with 3 interceptions and a fumble recovery and sacked Blue Devil quarterback Christian Menares-Brown four times.

"This was probably the most aggressive and physical play on the line that I've seen from our defense since I've been here" said Coach Carty about the Raider defense. "We created multiple turnovers which was something that wasn't there last year".

Ahead 14-7 Raider QB Andrew Zitel found Nico Mukendi in the corner of the end zone for a 14-yard TD pass for the first of Mukendi's two TD receptions.

The Blue Devils were able to cut the Raider lead to 20-14 midway through the second quarter but the Raiders responded reeling off 24 straight points to put the game out of reach.
