Pick-Up Truck Veers Off Road, Crashes Into Pole, Overturns In Hillsborough: Cops
New Centre Road was closed for about 3 hours on Thursday as a result of the crash.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough driver was hospitalized after her pick-up truck veered off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole on Thursday, said police.
On Feb. 2 at around 2:06 p.m., the Hillsborough Township Police were called to the area of Roycefield Road and New Centre Road for a motor vehicle collision.
Police found a 2002 Ford F-150 overturned on the roadway next to a struck utility pole, said Hillsborough Police Sgt. Jack Howard.

The driver of the truck, identified as Yessica Baltazar-Trejo, 35, of Hillsborough, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson-New Brunswick for a complaint of neck pain.
The two passengers in the truck were not injured, said Howard.

A preliminary investigation found that Baltazar-Trejo was driving east on New Centre Road and lost control of the pick-up truck, veering off the roadway and hitting a pole, said Howard.
New Centre Road was closed between Roycefield Road and Auten Road for around 3 hours while repairs were made to the utility pole.
This crash remains under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department.
