Plane Crashes Into Tree At Airport In Somerset County
The pilot was trying to land at the airport located in Montgomery when the crash happened, said police.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — A plane crashed at Princeton Airport while the pilot was trying to land on Wednesday morning, said police.
On Aug. 9 at 8:59 a.m., Montgomery Police, Montgomery EMS, Montgomery Fire Company 2 and Rocky Hill Fire Company were called to Princeton Airport for a plane crash.
Authorities found the plane, a single-engine Cessna, disabled on Airpark Road at the entrance to the Princeton Airport located in Montgomery Township.

An investigation found that while the pilot was trying to land, a gust of wind blew the plane off course, said police.
The pilot tried to gain altitude and in doing so, hit a tree on the south side of Airpark Road., said police.

The pilot was uninjured.
The crash is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Association(FAA).
