Police Investigate Missing Hillsborough HS Funds

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police are investigating into the theft of funds from one of Hillsborough High School's accounts.

Funds from one the school's accounts were reportedly unaccounted for on Dec. 8.

"The discrepancies in the account occurred from September 2013 through October 2017," Hillsborough Police report.

When reached for comment, Hillsborough Schools Spokeswoman Kia Bergman said, "The Hillsborough Board of Education will not comment on personnel matters."

This is an ongoing investigation and no further information will be released at this time, police reported.
