Potential Planet Fitness Coronavirus Exposure In Hillsborough

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Someone who tested positive for the new coronavirus was reportedly in Planet Fitness on Route 206 in Hillsborough on March 15, township officials said.
"Although this is likely a low-risk exposure, anyone in Planet Fitness on that day should monitor their symptoms until March 30," Hillsborough Mayor Doug Tomson said.
If someone develops symptoms they should contact their physician ahead of visiting and call the Health Department at 908-369-5652.

Additionally, the township health department reported Hillsborough two new positive cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the total number of cases in the township to eight.

Anyone who may have been in close contact with the positive testing persons will be contacted within 24 to 48 hours of each case being confirmed.
