Primary Election Candidates: Who's Running In Hillsborough
The only race in Hillsborugh is uncontested after Monday's filing deadline.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — It appears there will be an uncontested primary election in Hillsborough Township, with only one Republican and one Democrat who filed a petition to run in 2019.
Candidates had until 4 p.m. on Monday to file petitions for election.
There are two uncontested candidates in each primary running for one Township Committee seat:

- Democrat - Jeffrey A. Wright
- Republican -Frank DelCore (Incumbent)
The candidates are running for their party's nomination on June 4 and then will move on to the general election on Nov. 5.
Voters have until May 14 to register for the primary election.
