Puppy Yoga Event In Hillsborough To Benefit Charities
The hour-long event features a mixed-level yoga session with rescue puppies and dogs roaming freely during the session.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — In conjunction with Doggie Noses and Yoga Poses, Hillsborough BoroSAFE and the Hillsborough Millstone Municipal Alliance are hosting Puppy Yoga on Thursday, April 27 from 7 until 8 p.m. at the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building. The event will benefit Bully Rescue Warriors as well as BoroSAFE.
The hour-long event features a mixed-level yoga session conducted by a qualified yoga instructor. Rescue puppies and dogs will be roaming freely during the session.
The benefits of yoga are further enhanced by your interaction with adorable and available rescue pups. You supply your own yoga mat or towel.

Advance registration admission is $37.50, the puppy kisses are free. You can register online at eventbrite.com. Walk-in registration is $45 and will be on a space-permitting basis.
"This is the second time BoroSAFE and the Alliance have co-hosted this event, and I know the first one was a great success. We look forward to this one being equally successful," said Committeeman John Ciccarellii.

The only pets permitted are those dogs that are part of the program, please do not bring any pets. Also, for the safety of the rescue dogs, you should not have any food or snacks with you. Only registered participants will be granted entry, we can not accommodate spectators.

Bully Rescue Warriors, based in Hamden, NJ, is a 501(c)3 organization that focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming bully breed dogs. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Bully Rescue Warriors.

Mission Statement: BoroSAFE is a community collaborative with an aim to provide access to mental health resources, emotional well-being best practices and suicide prevention resources across the entire Hillsborough Community.

To proactively connect the community with resources surrounding mental health for all community members. Ensuring the entire community is able to work on their emotional wellbeing, no matter where on the mental health continuum they may fall.
