The Varsity team spent the 3rd weekend in January in action again with another Quad. This time the location was South Plainfield and the opponents were Bridgewater, Ridge & South Plainfield. The team again lost 3 tough decisions Bridgewater (39-36), Ridge (52-44) & South Plainfield (52-33).
Over the course of the 3 matches the Raiders won 15 of the 26 matches that were wrestled. The team got 3 victories from Evan Karolewski, Cole Psemenecki, 3 pins, Cameron Hill, 1 pin Arex Wyatt, 3 pins. AJ Johnson, Vinny Aboosamara, each with 1 pin and Kevin Klein all had 2 wins for the day. Chris Spinell, 1 pin, Nick Klementowicz and Rohan Deb all contributed for the day with 1 win.
Both teams will be back in action this week. The JV will participate in Raritan Valley competition with a Thursday night match at Bernardsville and a home match Saturday against North Hunterdon. The Varsity team will compete against Watchung Hills and Scotch Plains in a tri-meet on Saturday.
