Rash Of Car Burglaries Reported In Hillsborough

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Multiple burglaries to unlocked vehicles have been reported recently in Hillsborough.

Hillsborough Lt. Mike McMahon confirmed a report of a burglary to a car parked in the Crestmont Village complex off of Triangle Road near CVS pharmacy on Monday night.

There were two more burglaries reported on Tuesday night in other areas of the township as well, McMahon said.

The burglaries are under investigation.

"In addition to locking vehicles, residents should be reminded not to leave valuables like purses, wallets, cell phones or other electronic devices in their vehicles especially in plain sight," McMahon said.
