Readington Man Indicted For Having Child Porn: HCPO
Jose Perez Ortiz, 45, of Whitehouse Station was indicted for having and distributing child pornography, Hunterdon County Prosecutor said.
READINGTON, NJ — A Readington man was indicted for distributing and having child pornography, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III announced.
Jose Perez Ortiz, 45, of Whitehouse Station was indicted on Dec. 13 by a Hunterdon County Grand Jury for one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child for distributing child pornography and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child for possession of child pornography.
Ortiz was arrested after a joint investigation by detectives from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Readington Township Police Department on Sept. 11. The crimes took place on April 8, according to Kearns.
