Recognition for Hillsborough High School Field Hockey Players
Four Hillsborough High School Field Hockey players were acknowledged by the New Jersey Coaches Association.

Following a strong season for the Hillsborough High School Raiders Varsity Field Hockey team in the Fall of 2017, four of the players were awarded recognition for their skills and performances. This is the highest number of HHS players recognized by the North Jersey Coaches Association in at least the past five years. Field hockey coaches across the county, conference and State Group IV selected these players after viewing their performances during games this past season.
Senior and Captain Allie Benadon made First Team All Conference, First Team All County, and First Team Group IV; senior Annie Ryan made First Team All Conference and Second Team All County; junior Nicole Fortunato made Second Team All Conference; sophomore Payton Altman made Second Team All Conference and Second Team All County.
“The amount of hard work and dedication these HHS field hockey players have for the game is evident in the accolades received by four of our varsity players this season,” said Varsity Head Coach Jennifer Puritz.
