The vitality of Hillsborough is based upon multiple factors; one being the composition of the business and non-profit community that call Hillsborough Township their home. Last month, I announced a new recognition program in which local organizations with over 25 years of operation within Hillsborough Township will be recognized over the coming months.
At each Township Committee meeting organizations will be invited to attend to receive their certificates of recognition.
The first three recipients are Hillsboro Farm which has been in Hillsborough for over 150 years; A.R. Bothers Woodworking inc. which has been in Hillsborough for 59 years; and Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Hillsborough for 54 years.
