Reward Offered In Fatal Somerset Barbershop Shooting
A reward of $2,500 is being offered in connection with the fatal shooting at a barbershop in Somerset on Monday night.
SOMERSET, NJ — A reward of $2,500 is being offered in connection with the fatal shooting at a barbershop in Somerset on Monday night.
Around 8:40 p.m., numerous 911 calls reported a shooting at a barbershop on Hamilton Street in the Somerset Section of FranklinTownship. Police found a man, later identified as Denny Sanchez, 34, from Franklin Park, suffering from a gunshot wound inside the barbershop, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.
Sanchez was taken to an area trauma center where he was later pronounced dead.

The Franklin Township Police Department, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, and the Crime Scene Investigations Unit, are investigating.
Sanchez's death has been ruled a homicide by the New Jersey Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office. A preliminary investigation found that the shooting was an isolated incident. No motive has been released by investigators.

kept confidential. The $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of the people responsible for the homicide of Sanchez.
