Scarecrow Festival Returns To Hillsborough For Its 4th Year
Registration is now open.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The annual Scarecrow Festival is returning to Hillsborough for its fourth year this fall.
Beginning Sept. 29, Scarecrows will be featured on the grounds of the Hillsborough Municipal Complex.
Over the past three years, more than 40 scarecrows lined "Scarecrow Lane" along the Municipal Complex's rain garden, and organizers hope to see even more crows in 2024.

This annual fall event has grown in popularity since its inception in 2021. In previous years, creative, handcrafted crows stood watch over the Municipal Building, including pirate crows, police crows, Barbie, Rapunzel, Minions, storybook characters, Swifties, and traditional scarecrows.
Registration is now open for interested parties to fill out the form located on the Hillsborough
Township website, Facebook page, Mayor’s eNews, and Experience Hillsborough Newsletters.

A registration link will also be sent to Hillsborough businesses through the HBA newsletter.
Residents can vote on their favorite scarecrows throughout October via QR codes located throughout the area or via a form on the Township website.
The scarecrows will be displayed throughout October and winners will be announced on Nov. 1.
