Scarecrow Festival Returns For Second Year In Hillsborough
The township wants to top last year's count of 40 scarecrows. Registration is open to Hillsborough residents, businesses, and organizations.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Stuff your shirts and plump up your pants, for the Scarecrow Festival is returning in Hillsborough.
Mayor Shawn Lipani announced the fall celebration will return for a second year next to the Municipal Complex. Scarecrows will be on display from Oct. 2-30 on the grass and the winding pathway at the Rain Garden.
"Some will be based on popular characters, some will be humorous, and some may scare you - but all will be handcrafted by Hillsborough Township residents, businesses, youth groups, and organizations," the township said in its announcement.
