Scholarship Competition Open To Hillsborough Juniors, Seniors

Hillsborough is again participating in the NJ League of Municipalities' Louis Bay II, Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township is again participating in the New Jersey League of Municipalities’ Louis Bay II, Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition.

"As in past years, the Township is teaming up with the Hillsborough School District to provide Hillsborough juniors and seniors the opportunity to participate in this scholarship competition," announced Hillsborough Township Mayor John Ciccarelli.

This year's statewide scholarship competition, which centers on the theme "What I Like About My Hometown" seeks to advance the virtues of municipal government's elected and volunteer members.

The annual Louis Bay II Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition will offer up to three $1,000 scholarships statewide. Applications are available on the Hillsborough Township website.

Completed applications should be sent to Ciccarelli by March 7.
