Several Animals Die In Hillsborough House Fire
Hillsborough firefighters battled a fire at 63 Claremont Drive on Monday morning, police reported.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Several animals living in a Hillsborough home died following a fire Monday morning.
At 10:11 a.m. police responded to 63 Claremont Drive for a working fire. The home was unoccupied at the time.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and the home suffered damage to the interior living room area, police reported.

Several animals living in the home died and no injuries were reported to any persons.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department and the Hillsborough Township Fire Safety Bureau and, at this time, it does not appear to be suspicious, police reported.
