Shots Fired In Somerset County, Authorities Investigating

MANVILLE, NJ — Authorities are currently in Manville investigating a shooting as of 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday.

The shooting was reported on South Street in the borough around 6 p.m.

"We can confirm that there were shots fired," said Somerset County Prosecutor's Office(SCPO) Deputy Chief Frank Roman Jr.

The SCPO Major Crimes Unit and the Crime Scene Investigation Unit along with Manville Police are on scene conducting the investigation.

"At this time we do not have any reported victims, investigation is ongoing," said Roman.
