Shots Fired, Somerset County Motel Clerk Injured In New Year's Day Robbery

A Bridgewater night clerk was reportedly injured in what police believe was an attempted robbery at the Americas Best Value Inn located on Route 22, just hours into the new year.

Police responded to reports of shots fired around 4:20 a.m. - the injured woman was taken to a near by hospital where she was treated and later released, according to nj.com.
