Somerset County Prosecutor Hosts Virtual Use Of Force Discussion

The virtual town hall on Tuesday will collect ideas and hear what changes the public feels is necessary to make the policy just and fair.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office, Warren County Prosecutor's Office, and Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office are hosting a virtual town hall on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. to collect ideas and hear what changes the public feels is necessary to make the policy just and fair for all New Jersey residents and visitors.

This town hall is in response to the New Jersey Attorney General's Office plans to update the state's "Use of Force" policy — which will be the first time in 20 years.

The virtual town hall will include an information session to learn about the current policy followed by multiple opportunities to provide feedback on how you feel the policy should change.
