Why are you seeking to run for County Sheriff?

I have committed a large part of my life to public safety. I worked for the Hillsborough Township Police Department for 25 years. I have been a member of Hillsborough Township Office of Emergency Management for 16 years, serving as Director for the last 13 years, and a volunteer firefighter in Hillsborough Township for 42 years.

Serving in the position of Sheriff will allow me to continue my service to the residents, businesses and visitors to Somerset County. I will work with Local, State and Federal law enforcement agencies to restore the relationship between law enforcement and citizens, address the current drug crisis, provide greater security at schools and ensure fiscal responsibility.

What issues do you feel need to be tackled in Somerset County?

Create relationships with residents and other Law Enforcement Agencies. Defeat the fentanyl crisis. Establish fiscal responsibility. Ensure security at schools and businesses.

What sets you apart from the challenging candidate?

My multifaceted experience in public safety. Using my experience and training in Law Enforcement, Emergency Management and Firefighting will allow me to work with other agencies to provide the best service to the residents, businesses and visitors to Somerset County.

What else would you like to share about yourself or your campaign?

I have been a Hillsborough resident for 57 years. Through the years I have seen the many changes Somerset County has gone through. I have raised a family here and have committed myself to the safety of the community. As Sheriff I will continue my commitment to the communities in Somerset County.
