A Somerset County woman has been awarded $1.135 million after a sleeping driver hit her minivan on the Garden State Parkway in 2011.

A Bound Brook woman has been awarded $1.135 million after a sleeping driver hit her minivan on the Garden State Parkway in 2011, according to nj.com.

Maria Salazar was driving along the Parkway in Woodbridge when the driver, an Griffin Sign Company employee, swerved into her car and caused both vehicles to run off the road, according to nj.com.
