Somerset County Women To Host Rally In Support Of Women's March

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The Somerset County Federation of Democratic Women will be hosting a Rally in Support of the Women's Marches Around the Globe on Saturday, Jan. 19 from noon until 2 p.m. in Asbury Park.

"This is the Third Annual Women's March and we are excited to kick off the year strong," SCFDW Chairwoman Margaret Weinberger stated. "It is imperative in these times for all people — women and men — to be engaged in their government and community all over our amazing country. Show your solidarity! Please join the Somerset County Federation of Democratic Women AND the Somerset County Democratic Committee this Saturday in Asbury Park for our Rally!"

Senator Linda Greenstein (D-14) and Assemblywomen Joann Downey (D-11) and Linda Carter (D-22) will be joining the rally on Saturday as well as Senator Vin Gopal (D-11) and Congressman Frank Pallone (NJ-06).

The rally will be taking place on the Boardwalk at 5th Avenue, Asbury Park near the Convention Center. To RSVP, email scfodw@yahoo.com.
