Somerset Man, 70, Accused Of Sharing Child Porn
Breaking: Kent Kollmer, 70, of the Somerset section of Franklin Township was accused of uploading and downloading child porn.

FRANKLIN, NJ — A Somerset man has been arrested and charged with uploading and downloading child porn, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.
Kent Kollmer, 70, of Norris Road, in the Somerset section of Franklin Township was arrested following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to Robertson.
Kollmer was found to have uploaded and downloaded sexually explicit images and videos of children under the age of 18 through the internet, according to an investigation by detectives in the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations/Computer Crimes Unit.

Kollmer was arrested on Feb. 23 at around 6 a.m. at his home where authorities found child pornographic images and took multiple digital devices for further computer forensic examination.
Kollmer was charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree possession of child pornography.

He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
