Soup-er Bowl: Hillsborough Fifth Graders Collect 2,200 Cans For Food Pantry
The two fifth grade classes challenged each other to collect the most cans of soup to donate to the Hillsborough Township Food Pantry.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Auten Road School 5th grade teams 5J and 5K celebrated their own Soup-er Bowl on Friday in preparation for the upcoming football weekend.
ARIS's fifth grade teams 5J (Diane Lyons’s and Carrie Sanchez’s homerooms) and 5K (Beth Raff’s and Mindi Andreski’s homerooms) participated in their Third Annual Soup-er Bowl collection.
From Jan. 23 to Feb. 3, the two teams challenged each other to collect the most cans of soup to donate to the Hillsborough Township Food Pantry.

Both teams collected a total of 2,214 cans of soup for charity and Team 5J Falcons took hook home the title of Soup-er Bowl victors with their collection of 1,284 total cans.
