Sourland Mountain Festival Returns After COVID Cancellation

The festival will offer a five and half-hour musical lineup, events for kids and local food, craft beer, award-winning wine and spirits.

RINGOES, NJ — The Sourland Mountain Festival will return after being canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Presented by Unionville Vineyards, the 17th Sourland Mountain Festival will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, July 23 from 3 to 8:30 p.m. at Unionville Vineyards, 9 Rocktown Rd, Ringoes.

"This year’s festival will truly be a community celebration of everything the region has to offer," said Sourland Mountain Festival Chair Suzanne Parsons.

The festival, presented by Unionville Vineyards, will offer a five and half-hour musical lineup, events for kids and local food, craft beer, award-winning wine and spirits, local artists and craft vendors and services.

New Jersey musical artists featured at this year’s festival include The Outcrops, Rainbow Fresh and James Popik and Supernova.

Events for children of all ages include the local Cool Critters (such as alpacas, bees, turtles, snakes, and more), exploring hands-on activities at booths and learning about the legends and lore of the Sourland Mountains at History Lane.

The VIP Experience provided by The Ryland Inn returns this year. Local craft beers, wine and light snacks will be available throughout the day with a full buffet meal provided during the evening, using locally sourced and responsibly grown products, and prepared by renowned Executive Chef Chris Albrecht. VIP tickets must be purchased in advance and guests must be 21 years of age or older.

Volunteers are needed and will receive free admission, a volunteer T-shirt and refreshments. Sponsorship is also available.
