Sourland Music Festival To Be Held Saturday In Hillsborough
Sourland Music Festival will benefit the Sourland Conservancy and feature great music, food, beer and wine on Saturday, June 17.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Come out for great food and music while supporting a great cause at the Sourland Music Festival on Saturday in Hillsborough.
The Sourland Music Festival is hosted by the Sourland Conservancy, a non-profit organization that works to protect the Sourland Mountain region.
The 90-square-mile Sourland region is home to the largest contiguous forest in Central New Jersey. The sparsely populated area includes parts of Somerset, Hunterdon and Mercer counties, and encompasses a complex ecosystem of forest, wetlands and grasslands.

Tom Marshall, longtime lyricist for the jam band Phish and who now lives in the Sourlands said, "I hike in the Sourland Mountain Preserve all the time. Any charity that helps a cool cause like this, we'd love to take part.”
Guests should bring a lawn chair, a blanket, some sun screen and sunglasses. Local food vendors, beer and wine garden along with a lineup of music that covers the Blues, Folk, Jazz and Rock will be featured.

The festival will be held at Hillsborough Golf & Country Club, 146 Wertsville Road, Hillsborough from 3 to 11 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, June 18 from 2 to 9 p.m.
Online ticket sales end at midnight Thursday, June 15. Tickets are $25 adult admission or $35 at the gate; $10 for children age 7 to 12 and free for children under 7.
