Spring Break, a Play, New Eatery Are Talk of the Town

And a local band makes an appearance in town.

We asked our friends on Hillsborough Patch's Facebook page what they are talking to their neighbors about, whether it was the Academy Awards, school budgets, or maybe a big pothole growing on Route 206. Here's what they said:

Mike Johnson said he was talking to friends about "Play It Again, Sam" at the Somerset Valley Players' Theater. "There are still two full weekends left of this fabulous show," he said.

"To be fair, I'm in it but that doesn't mean I'm biased," he added, but promised a good time for those seeing it—which seems about right: the Players' have always done comedy right and Woody Allen produced a good script. Tickets available on the theater's website.

Patricia Sanguiliano said she's waiting for the opening of the Tender Lovin' Grill (it's under construction a few doors down from Five Guys Hamburgers and Fries; we have not been able to find out when it opens). "I can't wait to try it!" she wrote.

Hillsborough's Blues for Alice, with brothers Glenn and Alan Korzin, will be playing at Joey G's Bar and Grill Saturday night, the bar noted, adding, "It's our pleasure to help further promote the careers of Hillsborough's alum."

Mia Murphy said she's been talking to others about what to do for spring break—especially for those who haven't made their plans yet. She's thinking Great Wolf Lodge, in the Poconos, might be a suitable trip.
