Star Wars-Themed Fun Offered at Hillsborough Library

Hillsborough, NJ -- As the Star Wars frenzy continues, libraries across Somerset County including in Hillsborough, are offering trivia, a wide range of books, graphic novels relating to the movies and special Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens programs.

The Somerset County Library System of New Jersey has more than 1,500 Star Wars-themed books and graphic novels that have been checked out almost 47,000 times.

"SCLSNJ also has more than 40 copies of Star Wars video games that have been checked out almost 2,400 times, over 30 copies of various Star Wars CDs that have been checked out almost 1,500 times, and just under 200 copies of Star Wars movies - on DVD and BluRay - that have been checked out almost 7,500 times," according to a release from SCLSNJ.

Star Wars Trivia will be hosted during June and July at any SCLSNJ Library branch. Additionally during June and July nine of the county libraries will be hosting special Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens programs.

Teens and adults are invited for a Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens viewing*. No registration required.

SCLSNJ’s Warren Township Library branch, located at 42 Mountain Blvd. in Warren Township

June 25, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 1-4 p.m.

• 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.: All ages are invited for drop-in Star Wars crafts and games, as a well as a visit from the storm troopers for the 501st Legion.
• 1-4 p.m.: All ages are invited for a Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens viewing*. Registration is required for the movie viewing.

June 24, 2-4 p.m.

Ages 10+ are invited for a Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens viewing*. Snacks and drinks will be available. No registration required.
