SVP's Next Production Is “Grand Hotel – The Musical"
Musical based on famous 1932 film comes to life at Somerset Valley Players

Hillsborough, NJ – The next production of the Somerset Valley Players, Hillsborough’s award-winning, nonprofit community theatre, is the musical Grand Hotel, opening on Friday, June 8.
Directed and choreographed by Jim Jarrell, Grand Hotel is based on the famous novel by Vicki Baum and the classic 1932 film that starred Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford and John Barrymore. It tells the story of eight lives that intersect at an opulent hotel in 1928 Berlin. The musical premiered on Broadway in 1989, and ran for over 1,000 performances. A recent, limited engagement revival ran off Broadway.
Produced by Emily Windus and Roberta Steve, stage managed by Holly Lessing, Grand Hotel’s musical director is Jarred Lee.

Grand Hotel – The Musical runs June 8-24 at the Somerset Valley Players theater on 689 Amwell Road (Rout 514) in Hillsborough. The theater is air conditioned, barrier free and wheelchair accessible.
