Three Men Charged in Alleged Scrap Metal Theft

A physical dispute and driving while intoxicated charges top the list of reports from the Hillsborough Police.

Two Manville residents and a Princeton man are accused of stealing scrap metal from an Old Champlain property, Hillsborough Police said.

Kevin Burke, 32, of Manville, Jerome Carr, 32, of Princeton, and Robert Radcliffe, 32, of Manville, were charged with theft and trespassing for allegedly stealing scrap metal on April 4.

 Hillsborough Police reported that the value of the alleged theft was $447.

All three were released after processing.

Troy Conway, 34, of Manville, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police received a report of man passed out in a vehicle at the Quick Chek on Route 206 on April 10. Responding officers reported locating Conway allegedly asleep in the driver's seat of a silver Ford.  Conway allegedly obtained breath test results of .15 percent blood alcohol and was released after processing.

Pedro Cruz-Gonzales, 31, and Adolfo Fonseca, 30, both of Hillsborough, allegedly became involved in a physical dispute on Capricorn Drive on April 10, according to Hillsborough Police.  While neither party exhibited signs of injury, Cruz-Gonzales was transported to Somerset Medical Center by the Hillsborough Rescue Squad, police reported.  Both parties were referred to Hillsborough Municipal Court if they desired to file complaints regarding the matter.

Sarah Mulberry, 18, of Cornwall Bridge Court, was charged with underage possession of alcohol following a traffic stop on Route 206 on April 9. Mulberry was released after being served a summons.
