Tractor Trailer Head-On Crash Hospitalizes Man On Route 206

A Raritan man was hospitalized following a 2-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer in Hillsborough Friday. Route 206 has since reopened.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Raritan man was hospitalized following a two vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer and a sedan on Route 206 in Hillsborough on Friday.

At 4:44 a.m., Richard Foy, 39, of Greenville, Pennsylvania was driving a tractor trailer and was in the process of making a right turn onto Route 206 north from Hillsborough Road when he collided head-on the sedan that was driving south on Route 206, Hillsborough Police Sgt. Jim Omert said.

The driver of the sedan, Kevin King Jr., 38, of Raritan, was injured as a result of the crash and transported to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick for treatment, Omert said.

Route 206 was closed in both directions for a short time between Homestead Road and Hillsborough Road while the investigation was being conducted. The crash remains under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department.

Johnson BLS and ALS, NJ State DOT.
