Tractor Trailer Overturns In Franklin, Police Investigating Crash
The tractor-trailer was transporting various fragrances and aromatherapy materials

FRANKLIN, NJ — Authorities are investigating an overturned tractor-trailer crash on Easton Avenue in Franklin Township.
On Tuesday at around 1:31 p.m., the Franklin Township Police Department received a 911 call reporting the incident, which took place northbound on Easton Avenue near John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
Emergency responders, including police officers, firefighters, Hazmat teams, and EMS personnel, went to the crash which involved a 2000 Volvo tractor-trailer.

The truck overturned while trying to make a left turn from John F. Kennedy Boulevard to proceed north on Easton Avenue, said Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather.
The tractor-trailer was transporting various fragrances and aromatherapy materials, which Hazmat officials assessed and deemed non-hazardous.

The driver declined any further medical attention at the scene.
The Franklin Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau is investigating what caused the crash.
