Two Hillsborough Locals Arrested On Drug Charges: Police

Three cars were also burglarized and $1,700 worth of items stolen on Huntsman Lane in Hillsborough, police report.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Two Hillsborough residents were among four to be arrested on drug charges recently, police report.

Hillsborough Police Blotter:

On May 24: Jessica Taverner, 37, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession drug paraphernalia after being stopped in a vehicle in a commercial parking lot on Route 206. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On May 24: Xaymara Rodriguez, 31, of Paterson was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in her vehicle in a commercial parking lot on Route 206. She was also charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, failure to maintain lane and obstructing an intersection. She was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On May 27: Oscar Bucaro-Guerra, 22, of Manville was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Camplain Road. He was also charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and having a loud muffler. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On May 28: Tyler Laverty, 24, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession of marijuana after being stopped in his vehicle on Route 206. He was also charged with illegal possession of a prescription drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On May 29: A Huntsman Lane resident reported that three of his unlocked vehicles were entered overnight and that a laptop, Ipad and various other items were stolen. The total value of the theft was $1,700.

On June 2: Gregory Allen, 62, of Westfield was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle on Route 206. He was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, delaying traffic, unclear license plates and failure to inspect his vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
