Unlocked Luxury Car With Keys Inside Stolen In Montgomery

Montgomery Police also reported charging multiple people for drug possession, driving while intoxicated and other offenses.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — A luxury car was stolen recently in Montgomery, police said.

A 2016 silver Audi TT was stolen from Southfield Drive sometime between the Aug. 13 at 10 p.m. and Aug. 14 at 7 a.m., Montgomery Police said.

The owner of the Audi told police that the car was unlocked with the keys inside the vehicle. Police are continuing to investigate.

On Aug. 20 at about 3:52 a.m.: Stephen Rivera, 25, of Middlesex was arrested for contempt of court. While conducting business checks in the area of Montgomery Center Officer Parlow observed a suspicious vehicle. Further investigation revealed outstanding municipal court warrants for Rivera. Rivera was arrested for the warrants and transported to the Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. The New Brunswick and Dunellen Municipal Courts provided Rivera with new court dates and he was released.

On Aug. 20 at about 12:14 a.m.: Ian Kornberg, 21, and Dariana Castillo-Jaramill, 19, both of Belle Mead were arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and use or being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. Officer Parlow was checking a park when Kornbeg and Castillo-Jaramill were located and found to be under the influence of marijuana. Kornberg and Castillo-Jaramill were arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Department for arrest processing. Kornberg and Castillo-Jaramill were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia use or being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, and issued a municipal ordinance complaint summons for violating park hours. Kornberg and Castillo-Jaramill were released pending a court appearance at the Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On Aug. 25 at about 8:40 p.m.: Montgomery Township Police responded to a one car motor vehicle crash with an overturned motor vehicle, which occurred on County Route 605 near Blue Spring Road. The driver was identified as Christian Kolozsvary, 20, from Princeton. Montgomery EMS, Montgomery Police, and Montgomery Fire Station 46 responded to the scene. The involved vehicle was a 2016 Lincoln MKC. Kolozsvary sustained minor injuries to his forearm, but declined any medical attention. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Kolozsvary was issued summonses for careless driving and failure to maintain lane.

On Aug. 11 at about 5:25 p.m.: Montgomery Township Police responded to a one car motor vehicle crash with an overturned motor vehicle, which occurred on County Route 518 at the intersection of Burnt Hill Rd. The driver was identified as Andrew Lee, 25 year old, from Plainsboro. Montgomery EMS, Montgomery Police, and Montgomery Fire Station 46 responded to the scene. The involved vehicle was a 2004 Honda CRV. Lee had minor elbow and head injuries sustained in the crash and was transported to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Lee was issued summonses for careless driving and failure to maintain lane.

On July 31 at about 9:30 p.m.: Luis A. Quezada, 29, of Hamilton was arrested for contempt of court. Officer Parlow stopped Quezada for operating with a suspended license on Route 206 near Montgomery Road. A municipal court warrant was located from Cranbury Township for $500. Quezada was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Headquarters for arrest processing. Quezada posted the bail amount and was released with traffic tickets for operating with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Quezada was released with an appearance date in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On Aug. 1 at about 10 a.m.: Jessica Potavin, 45, of Belle Mead was arrested for contempt of court. Officer Coutinho stopped J. Potavin on Willow Road for operating a vehicle with an equipment violation. A municipal court warrant was located from Montgomery Township for $550. Potavin was arrested and transported to Montgomery Township Police Headquarters for arrest processing. Potavin posted the $550 bail and was released with traffic tickets for operating while suspended and maintenance of lamps with an appearance required in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On July 31 at 12:33 a.m.: Jacquelin Wilkinson, 22 of Allentown was arrested by Officer Ceccato as a result of a motor vehicle stop. Wilkinson was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and motor vehicle violations. She was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On Aug. 3 at 11:41 p.m.: Andrea Rogers, 23 of Pleasantville was arrested by Officer Clifford as a result of a motor vehicle stop . Rogers was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and motor vehicle violations. She was released and is scheduled to appear in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On July 23 at about 10 p.m.: Ethan Kibbey, 20, of Skillman was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Sgt. Gray initiated contact with Kibbey during a suspicious motor vehicle investigation and saw suspected marijuana on Kibbey’s lap. A vehicle search resulted in the recovery of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the vehicle. Kibbey was arrested and transported to the Montgomery Township Police Station. Kibbey was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to surrender controlled dangerous substance(CDS) to law enforcement. Kibbey was also issued traffic tickets for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, lamps required, failure to exhibit a driver’s license, and was released pending an appearance in Montgomery Township Municipal Court.

On July 26 at about 8:10 p.m.: Fredy Valdemar, 38, of Princeton was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Montgomery Township Police responded to a report of a man down. Police investigation on scene determined that Valdemar was impaired due to alcohol. Valdemar was arrested and processed at Montgomery Township Police Department. Valdemar was released to a friend pending an appearance in Montgomery Township Municipal Court. He was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcoholic beverage by driver, driving without a license, unregistered motor vehicle, careless driving, and uninsured.

On July 26 at 7:31 a.m.: Montgomery Police stopped Christopher Todd, 36, of Somerset, for a seatbelt violation on River Road. Police detected the odor of raw marijuana. Following a search, police recovered marijuana, and Todd was arrested. He was processed at police headquarters, and released pending his court date.
