Videos Show Man Peering, Shining Flashlight In Montgomery Homes
Montgomery Police have released two videos of a man wanted in connection with home burglaries in the township.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Montgomery Police have released two videos of a man wanted in connection with recent home burglaries in the township.
One video shows a man going up to the neighboring home at around 3:17 a.m. on Jan. 16 and looking inside the back sliding door, then shining a flashlight inside and walking away.
The incident happened when a Copper Vail Court resident said she woke up in the morning to find her back sliding door open and two of her purses missing from inside, Montgomery Police said.

Police searched the area, which lead to the released videos captured by a neighbor.

Several similar burglaries have been reported in the township over the past few months where someone will enter a home through an unlocked door or first or second story window, police said.
Police are asking residents to review their surveillance system videos and report any suspicious incidents. Residents are also reminded to lock their vehicles, never leave a key fob in a vehicle and take their personal items such as purses and electronics with them.
