In what was a tightly contested game, John Von Nessen scored a late goal to break the tie with a low shot from the perimeter that beat the Warrior goaltender.  The largest lead by either team was never more than two.  The Raiders rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period and took the lead early in the fourth before the Warriors tied it at 7.  Alex Malecki came on in relief in the second half and played well, making some big saves in the final few minutes.

Raider of the Game

John Jenkins—Jenkins led the Raiders with three goals. His first goal knotted the score at 2 in the second quarter as he stepped into the slot and ripped one home.  His next goal was of the shorthanded variety, tying the game at 3-3 as he let one fly from the perimeter after circling the net.  His final tally opened the fourth quarter, giving Hillsborough a 7-6 lead as he ran to his right, leapt, and ripped one high past the goalie.
