Woman Dragged By Own Car In Hillsborough, Airlifted To Hospital
A woman trying to park in Hillsborough was dragged by her own car and airlifted to the hospital Friday, police said.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A woman trying to park in Hillsborough was dragged by her own car and airlifted to the hospital Friday, police said.
On Friday around 10:50 a.m., Tammea Tyler, 41, was trying to park a 2019 Chevy Suburban in front of the QuickChek store at 273 Route 206, Hillsborough Police Cpl Craig Heindrichs said.
When Tyler was getting out of the SUV it began to roll backward, dragging her along with it until the SUV crashed into a concrete post, Heindrichs said.

Tyler was airlifted to Robert Wood John Hospital in New Brunswick by the New Jersey State Police Medevac helicopter in serious condition.
It is unclear where Tyler was from, Heindrichs said.

Hillsborough Police Department, Hillsborough Fire Department Units: 36 and 37, Robert Wood Johnson EMS, Hillsborough Fire Safety Bureau and New Jersey State Police Medevac all helped at the scene.
