Breaking: The Franklin woman suffered broken bones, needed 60 stitches and had part of her ear bitten off, according to a report.

FRANKLIN, NJ — A Franklin woman was hospitalized after her neighbor's dog attacked her last week, police said. According to police, the attack injured the woman's head, ear, arms, hands and legs.
Police say the incident happened on Oct. 24. Shortly before 6:30 p.m., the Sycamore Place woman went to her neighbor’s home to talk to him. When she knocked on the door, the dog, a 150-pound Dogo Argentine also known as an Argentine Mastiff, came out and bit her, Franklin Police Lt. Phillip Rizzo said.
She was transported to a local hospital by Rocky Hill First Aid Squad, where doctors determined she suffered broken bones and needed 60 stitches. Part of her ear was bitten off, nj.com reported.

Animal control issued the dog’s owner, Rodrigo Dileo, 39, of Franklin three summonses for having unlicensed dogs and for personal injury/property damage, according to Rizzo. A court hearing is also going to be held on Nov. 14 to determine whether or not the dog is deemed dangerous and should be put down.
This isn’t the first dog attack for Dileo. In 2016 that the same dog bit a man's calf, causing a large laceration and requiring four stitches, NJ.com reports.
