Woman Pinned By Car Rescued By Hillsborough Firefighters
The crash was reported on Tuesday night at the car wash on Route 206 and Hamilton Road.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Firefighters rescued a woman who was pinned between a car and a concrete post on Tuesday night.
On April 26 at around 5:30 p.m., all Hillsborough District fire companies were called for a motor vehicle crash at the Sunny Days Car Wash on Route 206 and Hamilton Road.
Hillsborough Fire Company # 1's Assistant and Deputy Chiefs arrived within minutes to find a crash in the parking lot which had left one person pinned between a vehicle and a concrete post, according to Flagtown Fire/Rescue - Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. #1.

Firefighters from Company 1 and Rescue 37's crews were able to quickly push the vehicle sideways and free the victim, who was taken to Robert Wood Johnson EMS.
Hillsborough Police Officers also helped to render aid to the victim throughout the rescue.

"This was a quick and successful operation due to the teamwork of all responding agencies," said the fire company.
The Flagtown Fire and Rescue is always looking for volunteers. Interested candidates may stop by any Thursday night at the firehouse at 7 p.m. at 20 Equator Ave. There is a 16- to 18-year-old junior member program as well as regular membership for those interested in being firefighters. Some of the benefits include scholarship opportunities, incentives, and a retirement (LOSAP) program.
