Woman Tries To Lure Hillsborough Student Into Her Truck: Police

The driver rolled down the window and stated "Come in Honey" two times to the student who was walking home from school, police report.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Authorities are searching for a woman wanted for an attempting luring involving a Hillsborough student on Wednesday afternoon.

A Hillsborough student just got off at the bus stop located at Auten Road and Bluebird Drive at about 4:10 p.m. and was walking home when he was approached by a woman driving a newer model two-door pickup truck, Hillsborough Police report.

The truck pulled up alongside him, in the area of 117 Bluebird Drive, and the driver rolled down her window and stated, "Come in honey" two times. Both times the boy said, "no,' police report.

After the second request, the boy told the driver he was going to call the police. The pickup truck then drove away showing no license plate, police report.

The driver is described as a white woman with a tan skin tone, wrinkly face, about 50 to 60 years old, wearing black glasses, and having shoulder-length black curly hair.
