Fire Leaves Hillsborough Home Uninhabitable
Breaking: A second floor bathroom and bedroom suffered damage causing the Meadowbrook Drive home to be uninhabitable.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough home was left uninhabitable following a fire Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 3:35 p.m. to the Meadowbrook Drive home where emergency responders found smoke coming from the second floor of the single family home, Hillsborough Police reported.
The homeowner was not home at the time.

Firefihters extinguished the fire, but a second floor bathroom and bedroom suffered damage. The home was deemed uninhabitable because of the damage sustained, police report.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious but is still under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department and Hillsborough Fire Safety Bureau. There were no reported injuries during this incident.
