Poor Paws Rescue needs more fosters. A foster cares for a rescue dog until a permanent home can be found. The foster period can be 1 day or one month, we never know for certain. Fosters see photos and get details about dogs needing adoption. Once they select a dog to foster, the dog is transported to NJ and arrives at a rest stop along the Turnpike the following Saturday. Fosters provide love, care, food and supplies. Poor Paws Rescue is on call for you in case an issue arises. We have adoption events at Petsmart stores in Central NJ most every Sunday from 11am until 3pm. We also post dogs on rescue adoption websites and our own website. We may ask you to meet a prospective adopter in a public place to allow them to "meet & greet" a dog. Once a match is found, your rescue goes to their forever home and you have a memory for life.
