3 Ex-Presidents Smile For Rare Photo In New Jersey

JERSEY CITY, NJ — What earthly force could get three former U.S. presidents – two Democrats and a Republican - to stand shoulder to shoulder with smiles on their faces?

Golf.

On Thursday, Jersey City celebrated the opening day of the President’s Cup, an international golfing event that takes place between a team representing the United States and a team representing the rest of the world, minus Europe (which participates in the Ryder Cup).

This year, the President’s Cup is taking place at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, giving Mayor Steven Fulop the rare chance to cram three former U.S. presidents into the same photo: Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
