AMBER UPDATE: Stabbing Suspect In N.J. Manhunt, Child Abduction Caught

Police were looking for stabbing suspect and a possible missing person.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police in New Jersey have released information on a possible missing person.

The N.J. State Police has activated an Amber Alert to assist the New York City Police Department in locating a missing, endangered child.

At approximately 1 p.m. the suspect, Diomedes A. Valenzuela, 47, (see attached photo) is believed to have stabbed the child’s biological mother and departed with a 3-year-old Hispanic female child.

He was last seen heading south on I-95.

The suspect and child are believed to be traveling in a 2004, silver Dodge Caravan, bearing NJ registration K24ECS.

Should the suspect, child and/or suspect vehicle be observed, contact 911. The suspect may be armed.
