HOBOKEN, NJ — A block in southwest Hoboken was closed Thursday morning for water main repairs.
Madison Street was closed between Second and Third streets before 7 a.m., the city said.
"The roadway is expected to remain closed through the morning commute," the city said. "Please avoid the area and allow extra travel time, to get around the closure."
Approximately 30 buildings were experiencing a disruption in water service.
Veolia Water was making repairs.
The Hoboken Office of Emergency Management was also on the scene directing traffic.
