HOBOKEN, NJ — Residents have begun moving into Southend Lofts, Hoboken's newest condo building on the west side of town. A dim sum restaurant and supermarket will soon take up residence there as well.
The spot recently held a reception to allow local residents to preview the space. Mayor Emily Jabbour attended, and the Hoboken High School Band provided music.
A spokesperson for the developers, the Taurasi Group, said one-third of the 110 units had been sold by May 1.
Residents of Southend Lofts can use 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities, including The Overlook, an
eighth-floor rooftop terrace with 40-foot swimming pool. The building also boasts Manhattan views, a coworking lounge, multi-sport simulator, children's playroom, and (for a fee) parking.
Nana's Dim Sum and Dumplings is preparing to open at the spot, and a Southend Market food market will open later.
The building is located at 38 Jackson St. Visit SouthendLofts.com for more information.
