Fire In Hoboken Closes Road Thursday Morning: Officials (patch.com) — Hoboken officials reported a small kitchen fire on First Street Thursday morning that was quickly brought under control but forced a temporary road closure between Harrison and Jackson streets near the city’s southern exit. Police and firefighters urged drivers to avoid the area and expect delays, and also noted a minor electrical fire at the Hoboken boat house the previous day that caused no major damage.
