HOBOKEN, NJ — Police in Hoboken are requesting information from the public after someone reported a "suspicious interaction" between a man and a teen girl Thursday.
Police wrote on social media, "HPD responded to reports of a suspicious interaction on the 700 block of Clinton Street yesterday between a male and a 17-year-old girl."
The block is near the Acme supermarket lot.
Police wrote, "PD is actively investigating the interaction with a minor. Anyone with info is asked to contact ArebaloJ@hobokenpdnj.gov."
Hoboken residents posted on social media about the incident, saying parents and kids should remain aware of their surroundings.
