2. 6 Atomic Wings Restaurants Coming To NJ, Including In Hoboken And Jersey City (patch.com) — Wing lovers in Hoboken can look forward to a new Atomic Wings location opening later this year, as the fast-growing chain expands into both Hoboken and Jersey City. The Hoboken restaurant is expected in the third quarter, bringing the brand’s signature sauces and fresh, never-frozen chicken closer to local residents.

Fire Causes Suspension Of Some Amtrak, NJ Transit Lines Friday Morning (patch.com) — Commuters in Hoboken faced major rail disruptions Friday after a fire damaged Amtrak infrastructure in a Hudson River tunnel, suspending NJ Transit service between New York Penn and Newark. Midtown Direct trains were diverted to Hoboken, and tickets were cross-honored on buses and PATH at Hoboken and Newark while Amtrak and NJ Transit worked to restore service.

Mukherji bills to allow $160M for Jersey City & Hoboken water projects clears Senate (hudsoncountyview.com) — Hoboken could see major upgrades to its aging water and sewer systems under $160 million in financing bills that just cleared the New Jersey Senate. The measures, focused on Hoboken and Jersey City, would tap low-interest loans to tackle water main breaks, flooding risks, and climate-related threats. Final approval would directly affect local infrastructure, safety, and long-term utility costs.
